Come find out! Volunteer with us or donate to one of our projects that resonates with your passion for the park.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Our mission is to support park staff as they manage Moran State Park.  We strive to enhance the visitor experience by providing educational opportunities related to the cultural, historical, natural environments at the park.

The Friends of Moran celebrate and honor the vision of Robert Moran who said, “This beautiful park will be held forever as a playground for all the people.”"

Moran State Park on Orcas Island, in Washington State covers 5,252-acres with five freshwater lakes, over 30 miles of hiking trails and over 150 camp sites. Atop the 2,409-foot-high Mt.
