Volunteer-it’s worth your while!

The Friends of Moran State park is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Volunteer efforts are required for ongoing park projects such as the annual tower maintenance, spring clean up, interpretive programs and events such as the annual Fishing Derby and Steve Braun Triathlonn.

We will be seeking volunteer help in april for the Annual Spring Clean Up and the 13th Annual Bill Yarlot Fishing Derby

From the middle of May through the month of September we’ll be looking for volunteers to staff the Summit Gift Shop which is open from 11 am to 4 pm every day. We also may be seeking additional help in the Interpretive Center. No experienced is necessary-we will train you.

there will be several trail and camp projects that come up on short notice or are assigned as we find a group of volunteers.  You can check back here for updated information or email us if you ahve a group coming to visit and looking for a productive way to contribute to our park.
